What’s new in SecureDrop 2.3.2?
For journalists and administrators
- Tails 5.0 compatibility: This release adds compatibility code to ensure that Journalist and Admin Workstations can be upgraded to Tails 5.0. (Issue, Pull Requests: 1, 2)
What administrators need to do
SecureDrop Application and Monitor Servers will be updated to SecureDrop 2.3.2 automatically within 24 hours of the release.
You must first upgrade your Journalist and Admin Workstations to the latest version of SecureDrop, and then upgrade them to Tails 5.0. See our upgrade guide for step-by-step instructions.
Please note that the decryption workflow on the Secure Viewing Station has changed under Tails 5.0. We have added updated instructions to our Journalist Guide.
