We’re pleased to announce that SecureDrop Client 0.13.1, part of the SecureDrop Workstation, has been released. Changes that users should be aware of are below; a complete list of changes can be found on GitHub.
Note: Due to a bug found during QA, the package version will be 0.13.1.
What’s new in SecureDrop Client 0.13.1?
This release focuses on printing improvements, and includes the following changes:
- Broaden printing support to over 100 different file types supported by LibreOffice (#2166) and
cups
(#2174) - Add user-friendly error reporting when attempting to print unprintable file types (#2166)
- Use a single dialog window element for all print actions (#2143)
- Update build toolchain and
setuptools
for CVE-2024-6345 (#2136, securedrop-builder#501)
Users will receive these updates the next time they run the updater.
Note: This release targets Qubes 4.2 and is not available for Qubes 4.1-based systems, which are past end-of-life. Please contact Support if you need assistance migrating to Qubes 4.2.
